A bit about me

Hi! My name's Luke and I've been tutoring physics since I graduated from High School in 2015. I was named the Dux of that year and went on to study an Honours Degree in Physics at RMIT. There, I maintained a 4.0/4.0 GPA and was awarded the Physics Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement in each year of my studies. In my third year I was accepted into Nanyang Technological University (NTU) for a semester abroad in Singapore. I continued to study at RMIT the following year, finally graduating in 2019 where I was included in the Vice-Chancellor’s List for Academic Excellence (top 1%).

Studying physics at an advanced level has allowed me to develop a far richer understanding of the material covered in Year 12. Since graduating from University, I have invested significant time in perfecting my explanations for the theoretical components of the Physics Course, and in creating new and improved resources for my students. I understand how physics in high school can be stressful, but I believe that my experience and knowledge will go a long way to easing any headaches you may be having.

I am also experienced in tutoring younger students in English, Maths and Science. With these students, I believe it is particularly important to help cultivate an early passion for the subject which will allow them to excel in later years.

Aside from studying far too much physics, I'm a passionate footy and cricket fan. I have also just returned to Melbourne after spending a year in Europe where, lockdowns permitting, I spent my time exploring and making new friends.

I look forward to hearing from you, take care!
