Hi! I’m Saroo, a current student in the Bachelor of Vision Science / Master of Optometry at QUT, and a tutor with over 4 years of experience helping students improve their grades with clear, structured strategies.
I graduated with an ATAR of 97.5, achieving A grades in all 6 subjects, a 99 in English, Duxing French, and the University of Queensland Outreach Student Achiever Award. However, what matters most is how I help my students succeed.
Over the past few years, I’ve worked closely with students transitioning from Year 10 → 11 and Year 11 → 12, which I specialise in. Many of my students have improved from C/C+ grades to solid A results through targeted support, exam strategy, and consistent skill-building.
My tutoring is highly structured and practical. I don’t just explain content, I teach students: • how to approach exams and assessments strategically • how to structure high-scoring responses • how to manage workload and avoid burnout • and how to study efficiently, not just harder
