Imke
Hi there! My name is Imke and I’m looking forward to helping you have the best learning experience, no matter how far you are through your school journey.
I’m currently studying Medicine at James Cook University, but not that long ago, I graduated high school as School Captain with an ATAR of 99.5. I was rowing up to 25 hours a week, committing a lot of time to my leadership responsibilities, and squeezing in catchups with my friends before we all went off to Uni. Oh, and on top of that, I was using the time leftover to study.
Don’t get me wrong, study is HUGELY important, and right now it probably feels like your entire world revolves around studying. But learning to maximise my study efficiency meant that I didn’t have to organise the rest of my life around studying, but rather that I could organise study around the rest of my life. Pick me as your newest tutor, and I’ll help you do the same. So many students, my younger self included, believe success lies in the number of hours you spend studying. I’m here to help you cut down on those hours but improve your results.
Not only did this mentality help me get into the course I wanted, but it has helped me throughout my time at Uni as well. These days, I spend most of my time hanging out with friends, getting involved with Uni events, running, swimming or travelling. Oh, and on top of that, I use the leftover time to study.
