Hi, I'm Auwranga, a HSC graduate from Hurlstone Agricultural High School, studying a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies / Computer Science at UNSW. I am offering tutoring for Year 11 and Year 12 subjects.

As someone who has battled through the HSC, I know firsthand the stress that accompanies school exams, and the demotivation that follows from exam results, despite gruelling hours of study. Now, what allowed me to thrive in the latter portion of the HSC year, and eventually achieve a 99.45 star and a HSC mark of 96 for Math Extension 1, Physics and Chemistry? The answer is simple -a focus on conceptual and intuitive understanding, that goes beyond basic memorisation.

Through implementing this in my lessons, we can answer the lingering questions that often remain neglected in class, solidifying your conceptual understanding. Furthermore, my lessons are shaped for the students needs, whether it be simple content revision, topic based questions or refining exam technique.

Now for lesson structure, my lessons are primarily online. As mentioned previously, my lessons are shaped for the students needs, but if you are unsure, we will mainly go through any weaknesses in content understanding, and questions. Ultimately, what I aim to achieve with you, through my lessons, is to provide the tools needed to not only achieve academic success, but as a result, allow you to balance your studies with your social life. For me, that looked like playing soccer, a bit of badmington and bingeing TV shows!
