Hello, Guys! 👋
Hey parents, students, textbooks, et cetera, My name is Archi, and I am a current student at UQ for the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), a field I have always been interested in. I haven't always been interested in school, however, and I know what it is like to question your motivations and convictions.
I believe that how you do one thing is how you do everything, and I applied that to school. If I was going to be in school, it would be a disservice to myself and to those around me to not achieve the best that I could, and I believe I did do that. I achieved a 99.55 ATAR, and a 2420 UCAT (a 96th percentile score). Now, during university, I have focused my attention on tutoring the next group of high-schoolers, in the subjects I completed and did well in (yes, I am a STEM student).
My tutoring style is to find the road-blocks, or bottlenecks in your learning leading up to the concept or subject matter at hand. Once we can find and clear those sticking points, the world is your oyster! I am calm, supportive, and can break down complex topics into easy-to-understand pieces. Having ran the gauntlet myself very recently, I can provide unique insight into how to study and what to study.
Beyond study, I enjoy working on cars, motorbikes, anything with an engine, really. I've gone to public school my whole life, and I'm from a regional town (Hervey Bay). My goal is to develop students skills and techniques in order for them to achieve not just in high-school, but in tertiary study and further life. If what I've said appeals to you, please contact me and we can arrange a free 30 minute consultation. I am happy to do in-person sessions within Brisbane.
