Hey everyone ! My name is Ananyaa, and while high school was one of my favourite experiences, it was also like the academic hunger games. As a tutor, my goal is to provide you with both the academic and mental support to ensure you make it through alive (mostly) (:
I graduated year 12 as Debating Captain with an ATAR of 99.2 and an award by the Australian Defence Force for innovation in STEM. I've been tutoring for almost 4 years and initially started because I wanted to offer a more well rounded approach to teaching rather than cramming or focus on scores. I've taught a range of grades from year 5-12 and have been able to develop my tutoring skills to use my experience to the best of my ability.
My lessons focus on ensuring that along with academic concepts, students can focus on practising study skills useful for life and learn stress management to perform to the best of their ability. School is the perfect time to learn to study smart for future you so your life can have hobbies and socialising along with academics. "This might sound dumb..." is honestly my favourite thing to hear as a tutor because a student should never feel embarrassed asking any question.
I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine and Commerce at Monash University . Outside of university, I will devour any fantasy novel or almond croissant, am a super passionate debater and a massive Harry Potter fan (no judgement allowed).
