Anirudh
Hi there!! My name is Anirudh Mallya, and I would be honoured to tutor you and help you achieve your academic goals, and I would even like to tune in to listen to your personal goals you wish to achieve, whether it be getting into a course, or a sport you want to play well at.
I achieved an ATAR of 98.45, and attended Townsville Grammar School, and am now currently studying Medicine at James Cook University. Having graduated from Townsville Grammar in 2024, I am quite familiar with the QCAA and fresh with all the content from the syllabus, and what they aim to see when marking student assignments, and their infamous word count requirements and ISMG's (marking criteria).
For Year 12, I received 95% for English, Specialist Mathematics, and Chemistry, and I received 97% for Digital Solutions, Mathematical Methods, and Biology, including 100% across all my internal assessment pieces, and having achieved an Academic Commendation Award from the QCE for achieving A grades across all of my 6 subjects. So, I am very keen to help you along your academic journey!
I have four years of tutoring experience, having worked at KUMON, where I tutored students of all ages from Prep to Year 12 with Maths and English, and also had the wonderful opportunity of being assigned as an Academic Leader at Townsville Grammar School, helping Year 7 students with their subjects and class work. When teaching my students, I use the experiences I have gathered throughout high school, to further develop their learning and studying skills, so they are well prepared for the challenges ahead.
I really enjoy playing sports such as tennis, basketball, and cricket, listening to music, and playing video games, but most importantly walking with my dog, Sunny, and spending time with my mates. It would be amazing to also hear about your lifestyle, and all things you enjoy!
Using my high school and tutoring experience, and soon to come university experience, I am more than happy to share some of my favourite tips and tricks, to ensure all my students achieve their goals, and further develop their skills for the adventures ahead!!
