Joseph
Hello!! I’m Joe. Originally from Mildura I moved to boarding school in Adelaide for year 11 and 12. In year 12 I graduated with an ATAR of 99.80, receiving a general maths merit and college prizes for drama and music. However, my academic history goes back much further than year 12, where, before moving to boarding school, I was the college dux, school captain, and recipient of the ADF Long Tan Youth Leadership Award at my hometown school. Throughout schooling I strongly believed in the importance in balance, due to this, I developed a structured and determined mental approach toward learning and studying that enabled me to balance the academic complexities of school with sporting, theatrical, and social commitments. This approach to academics was a huge part of my sustained success from years 10-12, despite having to navigate moving states, schools, and essentially shifting my life to Adelaide midway through this period. Currently I am pursuing a career in the arts, specifically acting/music theatre which has taken me all over Australia [Newcastle, Sydney, Queensland] and the world [Disneyworld, Universal Studios]. Additionally, I have competed in just about every sport imaginable, basketball, tennis, swimming, volleyball, table tennis, cricket and even earnt me some state opportunities in running and golf and regional opportunities in soccer. Hopefully this lets you know a little bit about me, and I’m looking forward to helping you crush school!
