Joe
Hi, I’m Joe Abraham! I’m currently studying Medicine at the University of Adelaide, and outside of my studies, I love reading—cooking for my family when I am home—and catching up with friends. I also love helping out with the community, which lead me to being a dual recipient of the NT student citizen of the year award!
In school, I had a real passion for learning across a range of subjects, and in Year 12, this passion paid off, as I achieved A+ results in Mathematical Methods, English Literary Studies, Psychology, and Health and Wellbeing, and in Year 11 I completed Year 12-equivalent Chemistry and Biology.
Tutoring has always appealed to me because I enjoy helping people make sense of tricky ideas. I focus on breaking topics down into clear, simple steps so they feel less daunting and more logical. Every student learns differently, so I tailor my approach to fit your goals—whether that’s aiming for the highest grades or building a strong, steady understanding of the basics.
I’ve worked with students of all skill levels and know that learning is as much about confidence as it is about content. My sessions are structured but flexible, with the aim of giving you the skills to learn effectively on your own as well as in our lessons.
Outsde of tutoring, I try to keep life balanced—exploring new books, creative projects, and experiences, or spending time with friends. Staying curious about the world keeps me energised and creative, which I bring into every session.
If you’re looking for a tutor who’s approachable, adaptable, and dedicated to helping you make real progress, I’d love to work with you.
