I'm Katherine, a 2025 high school graduate aspiring to complete a Bachelor of law(honours)/science at Monash University. Being fresh out of high school, I am well-versed in the current Victorian curriculum and VCE study designs. This means I can provide highly relevant, practical and up-to-date content, strategies and exam techniques to take your academic journey to the next level !
I tutor VCE General Maths 3/4 (raw score 46) and English (raw score 46) (y7-12). As a tutor, I specialise in breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. Underpinning all the content lessons will be the focus of developing a deeper-level understanding of content, as well as critical application skills (problem solving, critical thinking, creativity) - qualities that are crucial to tackling ALL types of questions. This approach supersedes mindless memorisation or content dumping !
Lessons are tailored through personalised assessment. For instance, I offer structured, long-term study plans based on strengths, weaknesses, and academic goals. Alternatively, I can also provide more flexible sessions focused on specific areas, questions, or upcoming tests/exams.
I aim to create a supportive, and welcoming learning environment where students feel confident posing questions and actively engaging in the lesson. I strive to ensure all my students can get THE MOST out of every session, and every interaction.
