Hello, Guys! 👋
Hi! I'm Kim, a medical student at the University of Sydney who still remembers exactly what it felt like to be a stressed high school student trying to make sense of difficult concepts all while navigating the turmoils of highschool life.
I completed the IB during COVID and achieved a 44/45, which meant learning how to study effectively in a time when structure and motivation were hard to maintain. That experience forced me to develop strong learning strategies - not just memorising content, but understanding how to break down complex ideas, retain information, and stay disciplined under pressure. Those strategies are what I now teach my students. My aim is always to meet students where they are and help you develop the skills to succeed independently.
As a medical student, I use science every day and understand how subjects like chemistry and biology connect to real-world applications. I also enjoy mentoring students who are interested in medicine or other competitive university pathways, sharing insights into studying, discipline, and long-term academic success.
Outside of academics, I know how important balance is. Even with my chaotic hospital placements, I still squeeze in tennis, pilates, a pastry run here and there, and some good quality time with friends and family every week. If you're looking for a tutor who can help you understand the material, develop strong study skills, and build confidence, I’d love to help.
