A bit about me
Hi everyone!
My name is Helen and I graduated from the Mac Robertson Girls’ High School with a 98.60 ATAR. I am currently studying the Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Melbourne.
My goal is to help students find a passion for studying and feel motivated about their learning. I hope to be more than just a tutor that you see once a week; I hope to be someone that you can rely on for support, guidance, and encouragement throughout your academic journey. I aim to help you find genuine interest and joy in the subjects we tackle together and empower you to excel and become a confident, independent learner!
My approach to tutoring is highly flexible and tailored to meet your individual learning needs. Whether you are looking to get ahead or need extra help with understanding and homework, I am here to support you. I believe in creating a supportive and adaptive learning environment that caters to a wide range of abilities. My lessons are structured yet adaptable, ensuring that we can adjust our game plan based on your progress and requirements. I focus on building a strong foundation, helping you to understand the subject from its fundamental principles and the ‘why’ behind each concept. I believe in this way, the learning process will feel much more engaging and rewarding.
In my spare time, I enjoy painting, going on picnics and spending time with friends. I recognise the importance of having a balanced lifestyle and that your academics should complement rather than overshadow the other aspects of your life and as your tutor, I want to equip you with the skills to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
