Rhys

Hi there! My name is Rhys and I am currently studying medicine at UQ. I graduated high school in 2017 from St Augustine's College, Cairns. I graduated from my Science Degree with a major in Mathematics at UQ with a GPA of 6.2. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports: cricket, soccer and running. I have experience in tutoring high school students over the last 8 years and university students over the last 5 years. The subjects which I have experience in tutoring are maths and science (chemistry, physics) subjects. I take care in my work and care about teaching and students' learning. I believe that every student is capable and I am prepared to go above and beyond to help every student reach their full potential.  Here is statement from one of the students that I tutored last year: "Rhys is a patient calm teacher, who approaches every problem with a ‘can-do’ attitude and is always happy to incorporate a bit of laughter into his lessons. He is kind and considerate to each individual student and their learning, taking the time to explain questions in ways the students will understand."
