Hi! I’m Katherine Luu, and I graduated with an ATAR of 99.75.
I’ve been tutoring and mentoring for over four years, working with both primary and high school students in one-on-one and group settings. Along the way, I’ve supported students with disabilities, neurodivergent learners, and young carers. These experiences have shaped how I teach - I’m patient, flexible, and focused on helping students feel confident and supported.
I know that learning can feel overwhelming, especially when confidence is low or school starts to pile up. A big part of my role is helping students believe in themselves again. I want my students to leave each session feeling clearer, calmer, and more confident than when they walked in.
My subject results are:
- EAL: 50 + Premier's Awards
- Vietnamese SL: 49 + Premier's Awards
- Chemistry: 49
- Psychology: 45
I’m also happy to offer supplementary support in Physics (I scored 40+), though my main focus is on the four subjects above.
My goal is not only to help students achieve strong academic results, but also to support them in managing stress, building effective study habits, and maintaining a healthy balance alongside school. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, skateboarding, and crafting.
