Hello, Guys! 👋

Hi! My name is Shania. I am a current university student and I hope to be able to support students on their journey through school. Fresh from my VCE experience, I know first-hand how daunting years 11 & 12 can be to the best of students and I am genuinely excited to extend a helping hand. Specifically, I am keen to teach year 11 and 12 students needing support with English Language. Whether it be Metalanguage, ACs, or the Essay, I can help break the course into manageable chunks as per the students' needs so that they can look forward to their SACs and final exam - all while having fun with the subject just as I did. In addition, I am keen to work with students seeking help with Pre-VCE Maths. I am excited to share the skills and habits which will equip them with the confidence they need to tackle homework and assignments at any stage of their school life and in preparation for VCE Maths. My tutoring experience comes in the form of volunteering as I have been a tutor with a non-profit for the past 2 years. Here I reach middle and high school students across the United States and assist them in Mathematics and English. In my spare time, I love watching quiz shows and baking. My tutoring philosophy is centered around understanding how each student learns, and I strive to provide assistance that will resonate with my students.
