Hi, I'm Lisa, and let me try to convince you in minimal words why I am the best fit to help you survive high school. Well, let's start with my story. Math wasn't always my strength, actually, there was a point in junior school that I was struggling to pass, but for some reason, I just enjoyed the process of doing it, even though I kept getting things wrong. I never stopped, until I got the right answer, and a decent working that justifies it, that was a side of me that was intrinsically driven. Undoubtedly, my hard work did get paid off in Year 12. I got full marks on all SACs in Year 12 Specialists Maths, and eventually an ATAR of 99.50. This helped me to land on my dream course. I am now studying a double degree in Actuarial Studies and Science with a major in Statistics at UNSW.

I am a dedicated math tutor for 1+ year. What I enjoy most about tutoring, is not just helping students gain confidence and excel in their subjects, I have actually learned a lot from them, too. I am constantly inspired by their methods and perspectives, and the experience helped me to continue developing a most effective way of content delivery.

I am also a soprano at unsw Corde Chamber Choir (when I need a break from math), where I get to sing some beautiful unaccompanied music. I hope that my enthusiam for math would help you get the most enjoyable experience out of our sessions.
