For maths methods, I had Yash Bhardwaj. I really do not enjoy maths very much, nor am I very good at it. Yash made things that seemed really daunting to me, quite easy to understand and kept me engaged by asking me to answer and figure things out myself, rather than just giving me the answer all the time. His explanations are very clear and he was able to explain things in a way that met the level I was at for maths. There was never a question he couldn’t answer and he made sure that I understood what he was explaining before moving on to the next thing. I could not recommend having Yash as a tutor more and i definitely would not have achieved the results I have without his help.

I worked with Yash for Maths Methods tutoring this year, and his classes were both effective and easy to access. His flexible approach allowed me to focus on the areas where I needed improvement, and this helped me stay on track. Overall, Yash’s tutoring played a key role in helping me achieve a good ATAR. I would recommend him to anyone looking for clear and adaptable support in their studies.

I've been receiving tutoring sessions in U3/4 methods from KIS, and I couldn't be more pleased with the progress I've made. Yash's final exam expertise and friendly teaching style is added bonus. Really liked how goes above and beyond in explaining the concept for deep understanding.

I have been working with Sabine for several months now and she has been amazing. No question has been too much trouble, and she has been great at explaining concepts, especially important for me as I don't have a chemistry background. Sabine has been very accommodating when I've had to change appointment times too. For someone nervous about returning to study, Sabine has made the experience a positive one. I can't recommend her highly enough. Tracey P

Yash was my methods tutor during year 12 and I believed he truly pushed me and helped me recognise my true potential when it came to maths. As someone who didn’t really enjoy methods he was able to clearly break down each topic and carefully explain how to tackle a range of different questions. He was very patient and understanding when I was finding it difficult to learn certain topics which made me feel very comfortable and motivated. Yash presented and great amount of knowledge when it came to methods which really inspired me and immensely helped me improve my mathematics skills. I would definitely recommend him as a tutor.

Andrea is a very reliable tutor to teach students who do Health and Human Development (HHD). She can go through HHD-related topics that can benefit students' learning throughout HHD, as well as placing emphasis on acronyms. When it comes to exam revisions, going through the feedback in one of my practice questions and exams and delivering her advice on breaking down the questions properly is very effective and perfectly well done.

How to Smash Your VCE Goals: Finding the Best Private Tutors in Melbourne
Let’s be honest, the VCE grind is no joke. Between the endless SACs, the looming GAT, and the pressure of the ATAR, it’s enough to make anyone’s head spin. If you’re feeling a bit underwater, you aren't alone—most of the top-performing students in Victoria aren't doing it solo; they’re getting a leg up from the best private tutors in Melbourne.
The difference between a "pass" and a high study score often comes down to one-on-one support. In a crowded classroom, your teacher has to stick to a strict VCAA study design schedule. But with private tutoring, the focus is entirely on you. Whether you need to go over a concept three times or want to fly ahead of the class, your tutor is there to make sure you actually get it.
VCE English and Maths: The ATAR Powerhouses
In the world of VCE exam revision, English and Maths are the big ones. Since English is a mandatory part of your "Primary Four" for your ATAR, having a VCE English tutor is a total pro move. They can help you move beyond basic summaries and start writing the kind of high-level analysis that makes the VCAA examiners sit up and take notice.
Then there’s the maths gauntlet. From Maths Methods to Specialist Maths, the jump in difficulty can be brutal. A specialist VCE math tutor doesn't just give you the answers; they show you the shortcuts on your CAS calculator and the logic behind those massive 10-mark exam questions. It’s about working smarter, not harder, to secure that raw 40+ study score.
