Scott
Hi there, I'm Scott!! I am a Doctor of Medicine student at the University of Melbourne. I graduated from Melbourne High School and also studied Biomedical Science at Monash University. Apart from being a massive nerd, who spends most of his free time, attempting to quench his curiosity by researching the answers to life’s biggest questions, I am also a sports enthusiast and a music and movie geek.
Now I have a confession to make... I was never the brightest student. But this is my greatest strength as a tutor! I understand the struggles of not understanding, so I make sure my lessons cater towards your learning style! It brings me great pride and joy to see students of mine, go from struggling to scoring 40+ in their respective VCE subjects.
Achieving an ATAR of 98.75, I understand that attaining your desired ATAR is a matter of smart preparation. As someone who continued to play soccer at a semi-professional level, go to the gym, participate in debating at school, and spend time with my mates, all throughout Years 11 and 12, I am an advocate for smart and efficient studying. As a tutor and more importantly a mentor, I want to instil within you, skills that will allow you to achieve your academic goals into the future, whilst exploring other aspects of life that you choose to prioritise, in order to lead fulfilling lives. These include study skills, time management, and how to develop healthy habits.
