Hey! My name is Alexander Calvi and I'm a recent 2025 graduate from St Bede's College, and I graduated with an ATAR of 99.75
I'm passionate about maths, and have gone with the math heavy Bachelor of Actuarial Science and Masters of Actuarial Studies at Monash University to pursue my passion.

What I'd bring to the table as a tutor for your student is personalised learning, which will depend on the level the student is at. This means deep explanation and ensuring understanding for students who are trying to climb up from a lower SAC ranking, and assistance for students who are near the top, pushing for the highest echelon of results.
I always find that testing understanding, and keeping these light and friendly are the best ways to ensure engagement and learning, and I hope to improve the students' results, but also their confidence going into future tests.
Outside of academics, I love sports, particularly footy, but I also play basketball and cricket!
