Hey there! I'm Alan, I recently graduated from Camberwell Grammar School and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours. During high school, I developed a strong interest in science, particularly Biology and Chemistry, and was fortunate to receive my school’s award for the highest Biology grades in my cohort.
After graduating, I was lucky enough to continue exploring my interest in the STEM field through my current studies in dental science. This degree has allowed me to build on the foundations I developed in secondary school while applying them in a practical, hands-on environment. Through my studies, I’ve started to gain a deeper appreciation for how scientific principles translate into real-world outcomes, particularly in oral health fields.
As a tutor, I aim to pass on the same curiosity and enthusiasm I held for science to my students. My primary focus is to break down complex concepts into clear and manageable ideas while adapting my explanations to suit each student’s learning style. Not only do I want to help students improve their academic results, I also want to build their confidence and help them to develop a genuine interest in the subjects that they study.
