Hi I'm Micah, a student at the Australian National University studying a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics with a double degree of Bachelor of Law. In my time outside of academics I enjoy playing a variety sports, listening to music and travelling. I think my greatest strength as a tutor is my passion for subjects that I teach, which are reflected onto my students, making the subjects more enjoyable for them leading to better results. In addition, I am a very flexible and adaptable tutor, enabling me to explain concepts in different ways in accordance to the needs of my student. I also achieved a Band 6 or high Band 5 (English) in all my subjects, reflecting that my knowledge is adequate to tutor somebody else. As a tutor I enjoy seeing the improvements in my students' results knowing that it has directly been a product of my labour. Additionally, I felt like school was a journey to navigate through and in retrospect it truly was a fun experience and it brings me joy in reliving those experiences through the lens of another individual through tutoring.

Hi there! I'm Lilli and I’m currently studying Law and International Relations at the Australian National University. I currently offer tutoring in English, History and Studies of Religion.   English and History are not just subjects I excelled at during high school, gaining a high E4 in English Extension I and a high band 6 in Modern History, but they are also my passions, and I believe that shines through when I tutor my students, encouraging them to also find their love, or at least some enjoyment, in the subject.   My personal tutoring philosophy is that whilst the teaching of content is essential, the emotional support and investment in a student’s development is equally necessary to ensure that a student has confidence in their capabilities!   In high school, I devoted a lot of attention to my studies, all while participating in extracurriculars such as school sport (I really enjoyed playing Basketball), debating, model UN and student leadership.   Nowadays, when I’m not volunteering for United Nations Youth Australia, I’ll be either getting a coffee with friends, watching the sunset at the top of Mount Ainslie or bingeing the latest Netflix series!

Hello!! I'm Lucas and I intend to help you through whatever journey you are at in your schooling life. I graduated as House Captain with an ATAR of 98.65, and study scores of 43 in English, 46 in History and a 47 in Philosophy. Whilst at school, I found my most effective trait to be time-management. I always wanted to get good grades, but never wanted to sacrifice a mark for sport, social life or any other hobbies. I found that the most effective study is always done when done to a detailed plan which also allowed for lots of spare time. I am currently studying Law and PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) at the Australian National University, and am playing lots of sport, having fun with friends and tutoring great students.
