As a year 11 student doing ATAR, I was looking for a tutor that could help me with French. KIS Academics was incredibly helpful and fast at finding me a wace french tutor who could assist me with my studies. My tutor Eliza Carey over the past few months has helped me so much not only in French but in biology and maths as well. I’m incredibly grateful for the effort and commitment she has put into helping me be more comfortable and less stressed about the subjects I was having difficulty with. It’s been nothing but an honour to be tutored by Eliza and I strongly recommend her as a tutor
“I got the top mark for my SAC which was really nice, and I think that’s all because of my tutor”

“It's been absolutely fantastic and it's just been a very positive environment for learning”

Hey, I'm Annabelle! I work at a small independent bookshop. I spend my free time baking cakes, hanging out with friends and cuddling my cat, Sparky. I am currently enjoying my gap year but will be resuming my double degree in mechatronic engineering and computer science next year at Curtin university. I have wanted to be an engineer since I was 9 years old and have worked tirelessly towards this goal throughout my years at school. I used to put my studies before all else and frankly worked way harder than I needed to. I aim to help you achieve your academic goals without having to do the same. I graduated with a 97.85 ATAR studying math's methods and specialist, physics, chemistry and English. My best and favourite subject has always been math's, ever since I was little. I love tutoring and figured it is a great way to use and share the knowledge I worked so hard to gain in high school. I have tutored in math previously and have also participated in volunteer tutoring programs. This has helped me gain experience tutoring across a variety of different age groups and subjects.
Hey! I’m Cameron, and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Computer Science at the University of Western Australia, with a major in Artificial Intelligence. I graduated high school with an ATAR of 99.85 and received Subject Certificates of Excellence, ranking in the top 0.5% of the state, in both physics and mathematics methods. As a tutor, I firmly believe in tailoring my approach to each student's unique learning style and pace. My goal is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where questions are encouraged, and challenges are met with enthusiasm. I understand that tackling subjects like physics and maths can be daunting, but I am committed to fostering a growth-mindset in students and helping them break down what may seem like difficult tasks into more digestible chunks. Having graduated recently I am familiar with the intricacies and details of the concepts you'll need to know for your courses; so, I'll easily be able to target help to iron out any weaknesses you might have. I'll also be able to point out any obscure details you may have missed! As I still spend a significant amount of time studying for my degree, I have a deep understanding of the student experience and the study methods which work most efficiently (for me at least) that I'll help you to implement if you're struggling to figure out what works for you. When I'm not busy tutoring or focussing on uni, I devote most of my time to hanging out with my friends (and binge-listening to Taylor Swift of course). I hope to hear from you soon!
Hi! I'm Daisy, and I am currently studying law at the University of Western Australia! As someone who stressed her way throughout the entirety of high school, I have built up a wealth of strategies and knowledge to help your schooling experience be as smooth and enjoyable as possible! I have a very strong passion for helping students get the most out of their schooling experience not just academically, but also in terms of wellbeing and happiness. I pride myself on building really strong relationships with my students, meaning I won't just help you achieve your personal best, but I will also be a supportive friend to help you through the ups and downs of school life. My strongest expertise lies within english- and humanities-based subjects, with my winning of the English ATAR, Politics and Law ATAR, and Modern History ATAR subject awards in Year 11 and 12 reflecting my enjoyment and passion for these subjects. I am now able to utilise my knowledge to help students translate their hard work into fantastic grades, helping them stay motivated and be super proud of themselves. Outside of school, I absolutely love to watch sport, so I'm always up for hearing for your teams went over the week! I also love to read books, so if you've got any recommendations, or are seeking some recommendations, I'm your person! So, if you want to improve your english- and humanities-subject skills, whilst also gaining another supporter to cheer you on, please get in contact!
