Hi! I’m Sabrina, and I’m currently doing a Bachelors of Philosophy (Science) degree  at the Australian National University. I graduated James Ruse Agricultural High School with an ATAR of 99.85, and I’d love to use my experience, knowledge, and skills to help you achieve your best results.   Even though the name of my degree can be a bit misleading, I’m currently pursuing Research Science, so you can probably tell that I enjoy my science topics. In particular, I’m studying Chemistry and Biology in university, and I believe my greater understanding of these topics can help you as a student better understand the concepts you need to do well in high school. I also love talking about the benefit of doing these subjects, so don’t worry; you won’t be bored chasing that number in your final report.    Apart from sifting through research papers, I also enjoy crocheting and drawing. In my spare time, you’ll probably find me trying to whip up some dessert in my tiny kitchen. 

Hi! I'm Nina. I'm a student at the Australian National University, and I'm currently studying science majoring in chemistry! In high school, I really enjoyed science, especially chemistry. But I also LOVED German, English and maths! I think it's super important to have a well-rounded set of interests. I received an All-Rounders award after completing my 14 unit HSC, scoring 90+ in English, Maths Advanced, Physics, Chemistry, German and Investigating Science. I struggled with achieving results I was happy with in high school, especially during the years leading up to the HSC. Comparing yourself to other people and the inherently competitive nature of the grading system can be VERY overwhelming, and it's easy to feel like there's no point in trying if there's always someone one step ahead of you. That's why I want to focus on individual confidence and achievement! I think it's super important to decide what results you want out of a subject and why. I want to help set specific goals and help you to systematically achieve them. I've been tutoring for almost three years, and I'm very passionate about teaching, so hopefully I can impart some of that enthusiasm onto you guys! I specialise in tutoring Year 7-10 Maths, HSC/Preliminary Chemistry and HSC/Preliminary Advanced Maths!

I am an engineering student at ANU, whilst using my electives to receive a major in chemistry, all to hopefully become a chemical engineer. In school I loved my sciences and math's, with my hopeful career path definitely incorporating these disciplines. I love figuring out how and why things occur the way they do and wrapping my head around problems. In high school, a large amount of peers and mates came to me for help to explain questions that they had. This is what helped me realise that I enjoy one-on-one conversations which results in both people gaining a deeper understanding on the topic. I believe what separates me from other tutors is that I have a lot of experience with differing levels of students, with me having the ability to explain concepts from the simplistic way possible to my current level of understanding. Furthermore, I absolutely love the subjects I will be specialising in, with me never being 'dusty' on certain concepts as even in university I am doing these subjects.e
