Hi! I’m Sabine - and as a recent high school graduate I know only too well how tough it can be, but I also know it can be super rewarding. I strongly believe that efficient and enjoyable study strategies and an understanding of your learning is all that’s needed to thrive in high school!   As a student I struggled with motivation until I realised that the best way to learn is to play to your strengths and interests. I love helping students find their own learning strengths and styles, and assisting them to use these to get the best out of themselves.   I enjoy explaining complex areas of the curriculum in simple terms, breaking down larger concepts into digestible pieces that can be easily understood, recalled, and expressed.   Throughout high school I worked in edutainment, volunteered, and regularly rode my horse - placing a priority on my health and well-being, while still graduating as DUX of my school with a 99.25 ATAR and the top scores in my school for 5 of my 6 subjects.   My passions lie in subjects that require an understanding of interconnectedness, resulting in my study scores of 50 in Biology, 46 in Geography, and 45 in Literature.   I’m currently studying a Batchelor of Science at Melbourne Uni, with a major in plant pathology. My name is Mitch, and I'm glad I didn't scare you away with my incredibly natural profile pic! I'm currently studying the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne, after having finished my Bachelor of Biomedicine last year. For the record, if this is a career path you're currently interested in, I'm 100% your guy! Although I've decided to be a science nerd as a job, I've always had a strength for learning languages and writing. I was lucky enough to go on exchange to Bordeaux when I was younger, which inspired me to become a life-long learner of French. I would then go on to complete VCE French, before continuing my French education in university. Si tu cherches quelqu'un qui a une connaissance intime de la langue francaise, c'est moi ton premier choix! As for English, well, that's my jam. I suppose I don't really know why I've always been a naturally strong writer, other than perhaps the fact that I read a lot as a kid. Throughout my academic career I've always exceled in writing tasks, including my VCE English Language studies where I secured a raw 44. If you want a guy who can talk enthusiastically about analytical commentaries and societal linguistics for hours, I'm once again your guy. By now I'm sure you're probably bored to death of reading about me - you're nearly at the end! I consider myself a pretty chill person with a wide array of interests and who loves a good yarn. Hi everyone! I'm Kaylee and I graduated from the Australian International School in Singapore with an International Baccalaureate diploma. I received a 45/45 (99.95 ATAR) and I am now studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne as a Chancellor's Scholar. On top of school, I enjoy swimming, playing touch rugby and hanging out with my friends! I used to be an average student and received very mediocre grades. However, after figuring out the importance of understanding over memorisation and adopting a few key study techniques, I started to achieve academic success. I'm here to motivate and support you to achieve your greatest academically! I want to help you become confident and capable of independently learning. I think it's extremely important to set a strong foundation for the future. Therefore, I really enjoy tutoring younger grades as well as older grades and being able to dissect a concept to its core so everything else will make sense!
