Hi! My name is Tamsyn and I graduated as Dux of Strathcona BGGS, with an ATAR of 99.90, including a raw 50 in Chemistry and a Premier's Award. Having recently completed VCE, I am familiar with how stressful it can be. However, I am also very aware of how a calm, consistent approach with attention to keeping on top of key concepts and how to apply them, can lead to success. I have a passion for Chemistry, but completely understand it is not everyone’s thing! I also have a strong knowledge base, having completed up to second year university physics and maths, and am currently doing my Honours in Chemistry.
Having already helped many students with both the basics and intricacies of Chemistry, Physics and Maths, I would love to help you understand the mysteries of these subjects and achieve your goals.
Throughout VCE, while I undoubtably focussed on my school work, I held several leadership positions and remained involved in many extra curricular activities including swimming, athletics, cross country, debating, string orchestra and academic extension. Maintaining this busy lifestyle forced me to study extremely efficiently and effectively.

I explain content in an engaging and comprehensive way but also help improve your study skills, so you don’t have to sacrifice the activities you love or a solid night’s sleep!

Now I am studying the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) - Science at the Australian National University, and when I'm outside the lab enjoy running, triathlons, dinners with friends, and of course, tutoring my lovely students!
