A bit about me
Hi there, I’m Siena! I’d love to be a part of your academic journey and help you work out the best tips and tricks for you to succeed! I have been tutoring for over 2 years and have seen that supporting each person to have a better understanding of how they can play to their strengths helps them be successful with less stress.
I graduated high school with an ATAR of 99.55, along with a General Exhibition award (Top 50 WACE Awards scores), and 2 Subject Certificates of Excellence (Top 0.5% in Politics & Law, and Modern History). But what I personally think is even more important than these results is what I learned out of school.
During school, I worked at a pretty high intensity to get these grades, but I also managed to maintain part time work so I could save for an overseas gap year. I also doubled down on my health and wellbeing and was more focused on eating well and doing some supportive exercise so that I could sustain my energy levels and concentration.
Since finishing high school, I have taken some time out to travel overseas, work in a coaching consultancy and am currently studying a Diploma of Health, Wellness and Vitality Coaching. I felt that getting out into the real world was important before starting Law at University in 2025.
Here are the things that I offer in my tutoring approach:
· Using a strengths approach and making it engaging
· Adapting to each person’s learning style
· Maintaining balance with a focus on wellbeing
· Making it fun
Rote learning can only get you so far. To become a high-achieving student, it’s important to love the subject and work out your preferred learning style. And most importantly, we need to look forward to the sessions! We learn better when the topics are relevant, practical, and fun. Let’s face it, you already are spending many hours at school. The last thing you want is to feel like it’s a drag having to go to tutoring as well!
