A bit about me
I graduated high school with an ATAR of 98.30 and developed an interest in human biology, chemistry and medical research. My passion for these subjects led me to study a Bachelor of Advanced Biomedical Science (honours) at Curtin University, majoring in clinical medical science as a pathway to postgraduate medicine.
I enjoy volunteering as a peer learning mentor at Curtin University and working as an educator. Working with students in university study groups has equipped me with research-proven questioning strategies which I integrate into my sessions to help you consolidate your learning and get the most out of tutoring! Working with students who have a diverse array of capabilities as an educator, has endowed me with an exceptional understanding of how young people engage with learning most effectively.
To inspire confidence in my students and their capabilities, I supply students with detailed notes, powerpoints and excellent resources catered specifically towards the WACE curriculum such as past WACE question banks and model responses. I prioritise answering your questions and providing additional resources, including working out and focus sessions on not only consolidating content but also equipping you with study skills to become an effective independent learner.
Most importantly, I offer a personalised tutoring experience by understanding your capabilities and how you learn as an individual because I truly believe no two students are the same. My methods will equip you with both the skills and knowledge to ace WACE!
These methods have enabled me to achieve a WACE certificate of distinction, an ATAR score of 98.30 as well as an excellence scholarship for my course which I wish to utilise to motivate you to achieve your full academic potential and believe that no goal is too big to achieve!
