A bit about me
Hi! My name is Penny and I graduated from the Macrobertson Girls’ High School with an ATAR of 98.75. I have been tutoring students for the past two years and have really enjoyed watching students become more confident in their abilities.
As a student myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to approach studying, especially when juggling multiple content heavy subjects. But with the right approach, I’m confident that it will become more enjoyable! As your tutor, I aim to help you understand difficult ideas in a simple and straightforward manner. My experience in tutoring both online and in person as allowed me to has helped me gain an appreciation for the variety of different learning styles students have. I hope to tailor lessons to each student to suit their needs, and work alongside them to achieve their academic goals. I like to keep my lessons student-focused, so I’m always up for a chat, whether it be questions about the content or just life in general!
I’m currently studying Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne. In my spare time, you’ll find me studying, binging Netflix or trying to learn guitar. I’m always eager to hear about music and shows, so don’t hesitate to share if you have recommendations! Looking forwards to hearing from you :)
