Hello! My name is Melani and I graduated from The Mac. Robertson Girls' High School, a selective high school, with an ATAR of 99.60. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne majoring in Data Science.

As a previous high school student, I know far too often that the joy and wonder of learning something new is lost beneath the stress of tests and exams, leading many of us to rely on rote memorisation and pure luck. Therefore, as your tutor, I want to dedicate our time to intuitively learning and understanding new concepts such that you can appreciate what you are learning! I know first hand that not every student learns the same way, and thus will adapt my methods of teaching to suit your learning style, so that we can work together in achieving your goals!

In terms of my hobbies and interests, I love playing the piano and crocheting! I also really enjoy hanging out with my friends and trying new things. I strongly believe that striking a balance between academics and your hobbies is really important, which I hope to help you achieve through our lessons.

All in all, I believe every student has so much academic potential, and as your tutor, I hope to help you unlock it through intuitive, engaging and above all, enjoyable learning!
