Hi there! My name is Lucy and I have a passion for helping students feel proud of their work. Throughout school, I always had a love for STEM subjects, particularly maths and physics. This had led me study a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) at the University of Adelaide, hoping to major in experimental physics.
After graduating school, I just couldn’t seem to stay away from the learning atmosphere and started tutoring students right away. Because of this, I am extremely similar with the SACE curriculum and know what is expected from students. I absolutely love working with students to see them improve and understand concepts that once felt impossible to them.
Having worked with a range of different students, I understand the necessity of tailoring lessons to the needs of the individual. From explanations of complex ideas to practice questions before a test, I am confident in my abilities to make my students feel more prepared.
In my spare time I also love to be creative and always seem to have a project on the go, oil paintings and crocheting are my current obsession.  I also love a great book series and to spend time with my friends and family.
