I was extremely fortunate to meet the right people at the right time to guide me on a path to get to where I am today, and it is my goal to aid all my students to achieve their dreams so they don't have to go through the struggle I personally had to go through.
From not even being in the top 20% of the cohort in a public high school, I ranked in the top 10% of the Year 9 Melbourne High cohort and the top 5% of the Year 10 Melbourne High cohort. From always hating English and never reading as a child, I was able to dux the English cohort in Year 12 at Melbourne High, as well as ranking number 1 in the Chemistry cohort. Ultimately, I was able to achieve one of the top 5 ATARs at Melbourne High School against all odds, and I am now studying my dream course - undergraduate medicine at Monash University.
I hope that I can inspire everyone to dream big - and I mean REALLY big - and I hope I can guide every student in achieving these goals and be really proud of all the work they put in throughout their academic journey 💯
In my lessons, I do not just teach the content (which is what tutors usually exclusively focus on) but rather try to foster an extremely deep conceptual understanding of the content and provide tips on how to perform well on tests and exams. I have seen too many intelligent and hard-working people not being able to show their true colours in an exam situation, and this (along with study skills/tips) is one of my main missions as a tutor.
