A bit about me
Hello! My name is Jeffrey and I am here to support you to reach your fullest potential in your maths skills! I want to make maths not only easier but also enjoyable for you at school.
I graduated from my high school with an ATAR of 99.90 and study scores of 50 in both Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics.
I haven't always been great at mathematics throughout my high schooling. In fact, I vividly recall getting a C+ in my year 9 maths exam, and being really disappointed at my score. But from that point on, I changed my approach from just doing hundreds of practice questions to really trying to enjoy maths and understanding the key concepts that we were learning. After changing my approach, my performance in maths improved drastically, and I began to see that understanding the key concepts was a much more effective way of learning.
After finishing VCE, I decided that I want to support people who are in a similar position as I was. This is why I love teaching maths, since I can not only assist students with these key concepts but also help them enjoy maths as a subject!
