A bit about me
Hey guys! I'm Ian and thanks for stopping by my profile :)
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Dental Health Science/ Master of Dentistry at Griffith University on the Gold Coast having graduated from North Sydney Boys High School. Despite the mayhem that comes with dental school, I've always had time to continue my obsession over sports, especially soccer and basketball as well as the occasional computer gaming session with friends.
Admittedly as a junior student, it wouldn't be uncommon for me to struggle in the stale classrooms listening to teachers ramble over complex concepts in a machine gun-like fashion being the slow learner I was. And perhaps this is an experience that resonates with many other students out there, there's only so much a teacher can do with a class of 30 students.
Yet as a tutor, I believe that learning can be so much more different, even enjoyable, such that I've always prioritised adapting my teaching to suit the strengths, weaknesses and learning style of my students. That means whether you're a visual learner or like harder concepts broken down into small bite-sized nuggets, your learning will always be prioritized.
