A bit about me
Hey there! My name is Hadyn, and I am thrilled to offer tutoring this year! Firstly, a bit about me! I graduated from Yarra Valley Grammar in 2022 with an ATAR of 98.90, and I will commence a double degree in Law (Honours) and Commerce at Monash University in 2023. As a High-School student, I was incredibly passionate about my subjects, particularly Literature, where I achieved a raw 45 study score, and French (raw 41). As a tutor, it is my goal to instill and foster that same enthusiasm in my students. Passionate students are more willing to study, and studying, of course, produces results. I will cater to your individual needs, though invariably, I am here to support you, help you, motivate you, and ensure you can achieve your goals.
Outside of academics, I was Debating Captain and Prefect in Year 12 and, incidentally, I am incredibly willing to talk to you about Debating and Public Speaking too; not only do they hone necessary skills in communication, quick thinking, and confidence, but they also are genuinely enjoyable activities. I was heavily involved in my school’s Community Links and Music programs, including tutoring primary school students for four years and being a member of seven musical ensembles throughout High School. I also adore playing sports and I was lucky enough to represent my school in 1sts Tennis for three years. Interestingly, I worked as a Tennis Coach during Year 12 and continue to do so today! I am also trying to take up golf, though I need lots of practice :)
Other than that, I spend most of my time with friends and family, gardening, skiing (when it’s cold!) reading, writing, and always learning.
I know how stressful school can be, but I also know how enjoyable it is; this is the experience I would like every student to have. It is my goal for you to develop a love for your subjects. Remember, I am always here for you every step of the way.
Ultimately, I am an incredibly passionate tutor and here to help you in your Primary or High School journey. I look forward to getting to know you! Together, we will succeed. :)
