A bit about me
Hi there!! My name is Emma and I'm completing a bachelor of dental surgery at JCU, in Cairns.
I've always been very interested in maths, but I enjoy listening to music, binge-watching a new Netflix show, or doing something crafty in my spare time. I graduated during the ATAR system, so I am familiar with maths methods and music. In year 12, I received a 98 in maths methods, and 99 in music, so I am confident in my ability to tutor these subjects. I am also available to tutor maths at a year 10 level and below.
Throughout high school, I was involved in many extra-curricular activities including sports, music, and volunteering. For me, it was so important to find effective study habits to help manage my time, allowing me to focus on harder, more challenging content.
I believe the most important part of tutoring is getting to know the learning style of the student and personalising sessions to fit them. This way, we can effectively work towards your goals. I love tutoring because I am able to share my love of maths and music with other students.
