A bit about me
Hi, I'm Emily! I graduated from high school in QLD as the Dux of the School, and then went on to complete my first degree, which was a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Queensland. I moved to NSW in 2022 to begin studying at the University of Sydney, where I am currently a medical student. Throughout my almost 6 years of university education, on top my secondary schooling, I have developed many tips and strategies on how to study the most effectively. I am also a strong proponent of having a healthy work-life balance so that you can achieve both academic success, as well as continuing to do the things that you love to do!
I have also been working as a tutor for over 3 years. During that time, I have helped students of different ages, backgrounds and learning styles to achieve their goals. I strongly believe that tutoring is about more than just helping with content or preparing for assessments, and is an opportunity to gain mentorship and seek advice for the future. I aim to make all my tutoring sessions engaging and really focus on the student from a holistic viewpoint.
When I'm not busy with uni, I love to read, bake and spend time with my friends.
