A bit about me
Hello there! I'm Deshitha and I am a current medical student at Griffith University.
I graduated with high school with a 99.85 ATAR with 50 study scores in Biology and English, and unlike some others, I still found plenty of time to enjoy myself on weekends with friends, participate in sport and commit to my duties as a vice house captain and school prefect! I know you've probably heard the "work smarter not harder" cliche more than a hundred times, but I passionately believe through my tutoring experience that I have been able to give others tangible actions and tips that makes this meaningless saying a reality.
Many people see biology and chemistry as daunting, content heavy subjects for which you need 500 flash cards every topic. However, my goal as a tutor is to show you how these subjects become extraordinarily interesting and manageable when you learn concepts down to their fundamentals and look for relationships between the things that you learn!
Outside of school / academics, I love playing basketball, hanging out with friends, going on nature walks, playing the piano and the drum kit!
I am extremely excited to meet new students to learn about their hobbies, aspirations and perspectives, so if you're looking for a friendly tutor who explains things to you like a mate, feel free to contact me!
