Hi, my name is Catherine, and I'm here to make you schooling experience a bit less stressful!

I am a firm believer that by breaking down the complexities of concepts and focusing on a deeper understanding of the core foundations, learners of all ages and abilities will feel reassured in their academic abilities. Further, I believe that all learners have the ability to succeed with enough support and empowerment from themselves and those around them, and that self-confidence is the key to reaching one’s academic potential.

I have an encouraging teaching style that establishes the basics first and is accessible to every type of learner at every level. Through helping students understand their work, I aim to build their confidence in their own abilities, allowing them to flourish - whether this is aiming for that 50 study score, or simply feeling less overwhelmed.

Moreover, I understand students want a life too! I graduated
with a 97.75 ATAR and was able to score a 47 in Specialist Maths and Psychology, whilst also maintaining the ballet that I loved. I learned the most effective study techniques, and how to motivate oneself to apply said techniques, fostering academic motivation, and I am ready to pass this knowledge onto my students. I want to work with you on studying smarter, fostering my students academically and interpersonally, so you can continue the pursuit of your hobbies whilst flourishing academically, ensuring a happy, well-rounded student.
