A bit about me
Hi there! My name is Catherine and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at Monash University!
Needless to say, that probably makes me a bit of a nerd but let me back myself up a little with my credentials. The main subjects I tutor are VCE Biology and Chemistry, in which I achieved study scores of 48 and 45 respectively. Having been through the gauntlet myself, I am well aware of the reputation that these subjects hold for being "content-heavy" and "impossible to understand". However, as a survivor, I am here to tell you that it's possible to succeed and make sure that you get all the knowledge and support that you need to excel! I am a firm believer that what separates a "good" tutor from a "great" tutor is the ability to tailor - be it zooming in on a difficult topic or helping you connect the dots to form a more complete picture of the subject.
In my free time, I like to destress by knitting blankets, testing my reading speed by trying to finish books in 2 hours and playing with my very cute dog. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your best!
