Hi there! I'm Annaliese, an English tutor at KIS Academics. Growing up devouring books, I cultivated an insatiable curiosity for exploring the academic world – all of which has led me to tutoring! I hope to spark the same love of learning in you and guide you to reaching your full potential! In line with my passion for nurturing others, I will soon be studying towards becoming a doctor at Bond University. In my downtime, I love creating music and art or getting outdoors for a walk along the beach or a quick run around the neighbourhood.

My last year of high school was incredibly busy – I acted as part of the leading cast of my school's musical (with 2 hour rehearsals after-school every day and some weekends!) and aspired to remain engaged in various extra-curricular activities such as orchestra, singing ensembles and sports teams. With so little time but a lot of dedication and discipline, I perfected my study technique to become highly productive and efficient.

As a voluntary maths mentor in high school, I lent a quick mind and eager ear to younger students with their academic and personal struggles over the course of many lunchtimes. In addition, I now have plenty of practice condensing complicated concepts into easily digestable and connected parts. With my sincere encouragement, constructive feedback and helpful tips, I strive to support both the student's academic and personal growth in order to equip them with the skills and mentality required to navigate the ups and downs of studying. As your tutor, I will help you not only achieve academically, but also become motivated and strategic with your study!
