Hello! My name is Luna and I graduated John Monash Science School with an ATAR of 97.80. I am studying science at the University of Melbourne and will be moving onto studying Veterinary Medicine in the future. High school is undoubtedly challenging, beyond just having to learn the content and complete SACs for VCE, you will also need to balance your social life, extra curricular activities and apply for university in your final year. Being a recent graduate, I can fully symphathise with you, having the balance my social life, leadership position, extra curricular, part time job, being a primary care giver of the family and studying was one hell of a load, however I made it through and got into the course I wanted and have learnt many skills along the way. Which I am ready to share with you! During my time in school I have tutored many students from primary school to secondary school. I will use that experience to offer you the best tutoring experience I can provide, with personalised learning, engaging classes, extension activities and so on. Most importantly, I will be someone who can help guide you along your schooling journey, I can be your go to person to ask questions about subject choices, study skills, university applications, school troubles, anything you feel is important to you. Unlike many, I was determined to balance my extra curriculars during my VCE journey and ultimately earning a platinum diploma at my school, which is given to the top 1% of students who have shown commitment to extra curricular activates recognised by the school. Beyond that I also looked for opportunities to extend myself including: becoming a member of Monash Engineering Girls, volunteering at RSPCA, making it to worlds with my FRC team, attending the International Science Fair in Adelaide, joining SheCommerce, and completing NAB work experience just to name a few. Hi all! I’m Will, and I graduated Haileybury College with an ATAR of 99.05, and I’m currently studying a Doctor of Medicine at Monash University. I’m passionate about science and am a big politics nerd. Having just finished Year 12, I know all about the trek that is facing you and I’m here to help. In my experience, I found that the way to succeed was foremost having a strong understanding of the content, but then also making sure you’re able to apply that knowledge in the variety of different circumstances that may come up on exams or SACs. Hello, I'm Ainsley. I graduated high school in 2021 from John Monash Science School with an ATAR of 99.05. During year 12, I found it essential to stay ahead of my studies, so that I would be confident with the content in the classroom while still maintaining a life outside my textbooks. I hope to use my experience overcoming the tumultuous years that are high school to help you do not only the same but to succeed in any ambitions you have for your time in high school. I am very passionate about mathematics and I hold the firm belief that maths has something for everyone and can be enjoyed by anyone. I hope to instill this passion for mathematics in any student I take, or at the very least show them that maths is not something to be dreaded but something that can be fun and interesting on occasion. As you might guess, I am currently studying mathematics among other things at the University of Melbourne. There I am undertaking a bachelor of science, majoring in mathematical physics. Other then studying I am your average nerd, spending my time watching Star Trek and playing Dungeons and Dragons with my mates.
