Hello! My name is Charles. I’ll cut to the chase and quickly give you the outline of my educational background, what I can offer you, and my hobbies. Educational Background I graduated from John Monash Science School with an ATAR of 99.45 and am currently studying a Bachelor of Science Advanced – Research at Monash University. VCE Biology and Chemistry were my two most favourite subjects at school and were also my highest scoring ones! In year 11, I scored a 45 raw in Chemistry (top 2%) and in year 12 I scored a 47 raw in Biology (top 1%). My role as a tutor I’m very passionate about both subjects and hope to share my appreciation of these fields with you as well! VCE can be a very stressful and difficult time juggling your life outside of school in addition to your studies so I want to make studying a little less gruelling by helping you develop efficient study habits I discovered during my time in high school. I’ll show you the tricks top students use to get the most marks out of each exam question and explain concepts from the ground up to give you a solid foundation. Hi there! I'm Thanh and I will be at the top of your contact list throughout high school! I graduated as the DUX of Mount Waverley Secondary College and now I am currently completing a degree in Mechatronics Engineering and Econometrics at Monash University. To be honest, I didn't really feel to stressed out throughout VCE, in fact, it was probably the best periods of my high school life. I had a social life, went out with mates, slept a lot, worked out and played a lot of video games while still being able to top all my classes. I believe the secret is great time management and I would love to help you to have the same experience through VCE! I feel like the study habits and life skills that I have developed in high school have carried with me to University and also in life in general. Nowadays, I am able to balance my Uni life with my MMA training that is around 10 hours a week, as well as my social life (by that I mean I have time everyday to hop on the rift with the boys lol) and able to go out every now and then.

I graduated as my college Dux, with an ATAR of 99.75, and am currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering at Monash University. School is a different journey for everybody, depending on what you want to do after graduation. Scoring high (Whatever that means for you) is about being able to do well in a broad range of subjects, not just one or two. I've developed a set of systematic, first-principles strategies for learning that can be applied across numerous subjects. I loved maths and physics, always looking at problems from a simple, visual perspecitve. Rather than asking myself what equation to use, I like to ask what is really happening in this situation? What do we expect? Why might an equation suit this problem? This helped me reduce memorisation, and boost understanding. I learnt how to use this logical, step-by-step thinking to create easy-to-implement essay formulas that saw me acing VCE English! (Why be a maths OR English kid when you can be both?) I'm here to personalise this thinking to your needs (Because every single person learns differently), helping you optimise your study moving forward.
