As a year 11 student doing ATAR, I was looking for a tutor that could help me with French. KIS Academics was incredibly helpful and fast at finding me a wace french tutor who could assist me with my studies. My tutor Eliza Carey over the past few months has helped me so much not only in French but in biology and maths as well. I’m incredibly grateful for the effort and commitment she has put into helping me be more comfortable and less stressed about the subjects I was having difficulty with. It’s been nothing but an honour to be tutored by Eliza and I strongly recommend her as a tutor
“I got the top mark for my SAC which was really nice, and I think that’s all because of my tutor”

“It's been absolutely fantastic and it's just been a very positive environment for learning”

Hi there! My name is Zhiyi and I am currently a student who studies biomedicine at the University of Melbourne. I graduated from Methodist Ladies College with the completion of International Baccalaureate (IB), and have achieved a score of 42 which could be converted to an ATAR of 99.25, including a full score of 7 in both High Level Chemistry and Standard Level Mathematics. Both Maths and Chemistry are challenging yet very interesting subjects, through the studying of them both from High school and Uni levels, I hope I could be able to help you break down and have a better understanding of all aspects of these subjects from school. Besides the heavy study load of science subjects from school, I have a deep interest in humanities, including language and music. I have been studying French for five years and I applied for a concurrent diploma in French studies at the university. For music, I used to play cello for MLC’s concert orchestra and continue to be a member of the Melbourne University Biomedicine Student Orchestra. Even though learning language and music are enjoyable, they acquire a lot of time and effort. This allow me to manage my time and study load in a really efficient and effective manner. The tips will become all available to you once we get started. I understand that science and maths subjects can be hard at the beginning but once you are on the right track and really understand all the basics, things would become really fun and manageable. Let’s try to build a solid foundation for your future study and strive towards success!
Hey there! My name is Serena. I graduated as the Music Captain and have obtained numerous subject awards throughout high school, including being the inaugural winner of the Dr Susan Stevens Principal Award in year 12. Throughout primary school and high school, I have always accelerated in subjects such as Music, Maths and Science subjects which inspired me to pick the subjects that I completed: Music Performance, Math Methods, Specialist Maths, Psychology, Chemistry and English. I aim to teach you using my experience and study skills obtained in high school. I have also been teaching music instruments, music theories, and subjects since I was in year 9. I am currently a biomedical science student at Monash. When I get a break, I love to practice my instruments and play with my dogs. I've got two toy poodles! Fun fact about myself, I actually play three instruments (Cello, Piano and the Harp) in which all of my instruments have either completed or currently working to complete my Licentiates or Fellowship degrees.
Hello! I am a professional tutor with a Master's in Physics, honours in Bachelors of Science with a Major in Physics, and a Diploma in ‘Pure and Applied Mathematics'. Over a period of more than seven years offering private tuition, I have developed a dynamic and adaptive approach to teaching and guiding students toward more independent and more insightful learning in Mathematics and Physics. As of Jan-2022, I have conducted over 600 hours of online teaching since early 2020, as a private tutor for both high school and university students, from basic algebra to advanced quantum mechanics! While proficient in teaching advanced students, I take pride in my ability to teach struggling students and help them to improve their grades. My goal is to help my students to understand the problem process and to help develop their intuition for Mathematics and Physics. For any given first session, I like to get to know the student and find out where they’re currently at within their course of study. As each student is different, I cater all lesson plans to suit the learner so that the student benefits in every aspect.
