Hi everyone! My name is Anthony and I can't wait to be your tutor :) I graduated high school in 2021 with an IB bilingual diploma of 43/45 (ATAR ~99.65) and am currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne. Outside of studying, I enjoy playing badminton, karaoke, travelling, and discovering good food with my friends. I began tutoring during COVID in 2020 and have been doing so on and off since. I have experience tutoring between the ages of 5 to 19 and have discovered over time that I am very versatile and adaptive in terms of changing my tutoring style depending on the student's ability. While I only undertook the IB program, I now have about a year of experience tutoring the VCE and HSC programs in Australia. My name is Mitch, and I'm glad I didn't scare you away with my incredibly natural profile pic! I'm currently studying the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne, after having finished my Bachelor of Biomedicine last year. For the record, if this is a career path you're currently interested in, I'm 100% your guy! Although I've decided to be a science nerd as a job, I've always had a strength for learning languages and writing. I was lucky enough to go on exchange to Bordeaux when I was younger, which inspired me to become a life-long learner of French. I would then go on to complete VCE French, before continuing my French education in university. Si tu cherches quelqu'un qui a une connaissance intime de la langue francaise, c'est moi ton premier choix! As for English, well, that's my jam. I suppose I don't really know why I've always been a naturally strong writer, other than perhaps the fact that I read a lot as a kid. Throughout my academic career I've always exceled in writing tasks, including my VCE English Language studies where I secured a raw 44. If you want a guy who can talk enthusiastically about analytical commentaries and societal linguistics for hours, I'm once again your guy. By now I'm sure you're probably bored to death of reading about me - you're nearly at the end! I consider myself a pretty chill person with a wide array of interests and who loves a good yarn. Hello! I'm Nancy, originally from QLD, and currently in my final year of medical school at The University of Notre Dame Australia and undertaking my clinical placement in Melbourne. I also hold a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (with Distinction) from Griffith University (GPA 6.96/7), and had a brief stint studying the Doctor of Dental Surgery at The University of Melbourne. I've had a slightly unconventional path to get to where I am today, so if you're looking for someone with not just years of tutoring experience, but also life experience (living in multiple states, taking a gap year, overseas travelling) then I might be that person for you! Grades do mean a lot, but they are not the be all and end all! My tutoring style is to encourage students to not only excel in their studies, but prepare them for the future to excel in all areas of life.
