Hey everyone! I’m Lachlan (or Lachie if you prefer 🙂) and I’m one of the tutors here at KIS academics. I graduated from Brisbane Grammar School in 2020, the year of both the introduction of the ATAR system as well as COVID (not a good combination… haha). School was definitely a tough grind for me, but along the way I found many effective and efficient strategies to learn new content, plan, study and apply my learnt knowledge in ways that could maximise my grades, earning me an ATAR of 99.75. And these are strategies I’d love to share with you. I’ve been tutoring for over two years now and have helped numerous people of varying year levels (5-12) and skill levels achieve their full academic potential. I know school can be tough, but I hope with the knowledge, learning style and stories I can share with you, I can give you that confidence to not only ace your exams, but find new passions with your chosen subjects! As for me, I’ve recently completed my Bachelor of Medical Science at Griffith University, receiving an overall GPA of 6.92 and am now studying a Doctor of Medicine. When not learning about the body, I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing sports like Tennis and Athletics. I’ve also recently acquired a new interest in learning languages like Korean (although I have an extremely long way to go before using it in a conversation 😆). Hi, I'm Sherry. I graduated from Mansfield state high school. I finished my first year in Bachelor of Physiotherapy and decided to transfer out. So, I am currently a first year student in Bachelor in Secondary Education dual degree with Science major in Applied maths and a minor in Chemistry.
