Hi there! I'm Harrison and I graduated from Scotch College with a 99.95 ATAR. At the moment, I am offering VCE Biology tutoring for Units 3&4. I completed VCE Biology in 2018 as the Dux of Biology at Scotch, scoring a raw 50 and the Premier’s Award for my efforts. Currently, I am a student at Monash University studying medicine, further consolidating my Biology knowledge at a university level. Additionally, I am also actively involved in the authoring of lessons, practice exams, and SAC questions. Therefore, with that experience, I understand what VCAA examiners are looking for in student responses and can help guide students to write exactly what they need to achieve all the possible marks on the end-of-year exam. I also have a large collection of past SACs, past practice exam papers, and notes to help all students digest and learn the content.

School is hard. It really is sometimes. Juggling 5+ different subjects, each with different homework tasks, assessments and expectations, on top of sport or music or drama, plus (trying) to have a social life, makes school seem all but impossible. I’ve been there. Sometimes it seems like everybody else just has some extra advantage which means they understand concepts better than you, do better in tests, achieve better results. That’s where I come in. I’m currently at Melbourne University studying Science, and I know what it’s like to go through high school, especially VCE. In my tutoring, my focus is you. I’ll listen to you, to make sure that the way you learn is the way I teach you. But I won’t just be another teacher, I’m a motivator, a life-coach, an organiser, a mate. I’ll help you get that edge over your classmates, bump up those grades be it from D’s to C’s, C’s to B’s, A’s to A+’s, foster an honest and wholistic understanding of the concepts you need to cover, all while helping you to learn to love learning. Whatever your goal is, that’s my priority, and we’ll work together to see that goal realised.

Hey there! My name is Serena. I graduated as the Music Captain and have obtained numerous subject awards throughout high school, including being the inaugural winner of the Dr Susan Stevens Principal Award in year 12. Throughout primary school and high school, I have always accelerated in subjects such as Music, Maths and Science subjects which inspired me to pick the subjects that I completed: Music Performance, Math Methods, Specialist Maths, Psychology, Chemistry and English. I aim to teach you using my experience and study skills obtained in high school. I have also been teaching music instruments, music theories, and subjects since I was in year 9. I am currently a biomedical science student at Monash. When I get a break, I love to practice my instruments and play with my dogs. I've got two toy poodles! Fun fact about myself, I actually play three instruments (Cello, Piano and the Harp) in which all of my instruments have either completed or currently working to complete my Licentiates or Fellowship degrees.
