Having experience teaching foreign musical concepts to young kids as a violin teacher, I have the communication skills to make complex ideas in physics and chemistry comprehensible and even interesting to learn. I’m also committed to giving my all to help you improve, so I will stop at nothing to adapt my teaching method to fit you perfectly. Ultimately, I aim to be another pair of hands helping you carry the burden of VCE. I also want to help you study more efficiently, so that you won’t have to give up all your hobbies like many do. Hi! My name is Andy and I am currently a Bachelor of Design student majoring in Architecture at the University of Melbourne. I am passionate about teaching, and I would love to share my knowledge and experiences I’ve gained throughout high school. I understand how hard and frustrating it is to maintain marks and achieve scores, but I am here to help you along this journey! I’ve been through it all, the disappointing results, unforgiving parents and constant pressure. In high school I was the DUX of visual communication design, and it was by far my favourite subject I did. As a result, I decided to pursue architecture. Obviously as a design student, I am quite passionate about design. But otherwise, I have played tennis my whole life, leading me to become a tennis coach. I have worked with many different students and as such I have developed a unique teaching style which I ensure will make lessons engaging and fulfilling. Hi! My name is Teresa Nguyen and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne. I LOVE mathematics and it has always been my favourite subject at school. In Year 11 I completed Further Maths 3/4 scoring a raw 50, alongside a raw 50 in Legal studies with a premiers award in the same year whilst working 2 jobs. Education has always been something I am passionate and excel in and I would love to spread my skills and love for maths and learning with others! Apart from my academic achievements, I have worked as children's party host for over a year, which takes a LOT of energy and patience with children. This is extremely helpful in tutoring, helping me be an amazing tutor who can interact and engage with students, whilst helping them excel in mathematics with a personalised tutoring plan. My life isn't all about studying though, my hobbies are watching movies, playing games and playing with my adorable pug puppy :). I strongly believe that the most important part of excelling in maths is to understand the concepts, rather than studying all day everyday and so as a tutor, my main goal is to help students really UNDERSTAND the mathematics.
