Hi Guys! I'm Ruby and I graduated with an ATAR of 99.35. I am currently studying medicine at Bond University and have achieved the Executive Dean's Award for academic excellence throughout my degree. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, dancing, and going to the gym. I am also co-president of the Dermatology Society at Uni and am often busy organising events. I have extensive experience in the tutoring industry as a teacher and a student, so I know what makes a good tutor. Additionally, I have experience teaching group dance classes thus I am comfortable teaching groups of students. I am offering small group classes as well as private tutoring. Throughout my schooling, I struggled with time management and procrastination, and I found that having a weekly tutoring session would help to keep me on track, if not ahead of the curriculum at school. I've learned that the key to success is not only in the student's knowledge of the content but also in their confidence and exam technique. I aim to strengthen all of these aspects during my lessons. Hi there! My name is Sam and I'm very passionate about maths, technology and programming, which is why I chose to study a Bachelor of Computer Science (Advanced) at Adelaide Uni! I really enjoy my studies and I want to help you find as much enjoyment with yours. Outside of my studies I also really enjoy playing volleyball and catching up with friends.   As a tutor I believe if you can gain a well-rounded understanding of a topic you can do well no matter what curveball questions are included in a test or exam. Hi, I’m Emilia and I am a recent graduate from Pembroke School. I love teaching and am excited to help students develop their skills! Having graduated in 2021, I am very familiar with the current SACE syllabus. I am now studying the Bachelor of Science Advanced (Honours) at the University of Adelaide with an interest in majoring in either Biology or Geology. I have continued to study English literature and Ancient studies as electives in university, maintaining my knowledge in the humanities. My teaching is dependent on the needs of my students, whether it be explanations for difficult concepts, revision of material learned at school, assignment help or learning ahead of school work. It is also important for me to provide teaching that will suit various learning styles which enables me to make sure that my explanations are easy to understand. I particularly like to focus on improving the communication and English skills of my students, as this can improve performance across all subjects, not only the ones I teach.
