Hi, I'm Akanksha and although it has been almost 4 years since I graduated, it still feels like yesterday that I was stressing out because I hadn't done enough prep for my exams, or the fact that I hadn't gotten enough sleep. For me, the experiences that a student has during high school shapes them and impacts who they are for the rest of their lives. During my time in high school, I was a very confused student. Not only did I not understand content fast enough, it was hard for me to study properly and to manage my time, and I had difficulty focusing and remembering why I needed to study. We all have moments at some point in our lives where we think we aren't going to do well enough or accomplish our goals. My aim is to use my own experiences to help you study in a way that helps you unlock your potential, help you to become more confident about the things you learn, and help you gain skills that you'll take through your life. By the time it got to my WACE exams, I knew how to organise my time well, how to revise concepts efficiently, and how to identify my strengths and weaknesses in a subject easily. I believe that I can help YOU reach your potential. A little about me: I am currently studying the Doctor of Medicine at UWA. However, I spend most of my time watching my favourite movies and tv shows such as The Office (US version only)- even when I'm at uni :P, dancing, and playing the piano and the ukulele.

Hey! My names Elizabeth (but you can call me Liz), and I am currently studying Law and International Relations at ANU. I am super excited at any opportunity I have to work with others and to support students to make school a little less intimidating!! (trust me, i get it) I graduated completing the IB programme achieving an ATAR equivalent of 98.8 - and one of the weirdest facts about me would probably be that i actually learnt to enjoy studying in high school. I live by the idea that you can study smarter not harder and get amazing results, and i would love nothing more than to help you do just that! Outside of academics, I am a big fan of all things outdoors such as hiking and mountain biking. However, as all things must have an equal and opposite reaction, I also love video games and reading to unwind after a long day.

Hi, my name is Mart. I’m a student at the University of Western Australia finalising my biomedical engineering (honours) degree and hoping to start medical school in 2024 with the hope of being a doctor. Ever since starting high school, I’ve always had a passion for science and maths and love to pass this on to others. I believe these subjects can and should be fun and accessible to all students, if they’re taught the right way. My goal for my students is not only to improve their grades and place them on the pathway to academic success, but also to encourage a lifelong love of learning within them.  I’ve got a lot of experience working with youth of all ages, and a proven track record of helping students improve their grades. I am patient and empathetic, and am always willing to go the extra mile to help my students succeed. After many years of study at both a school and university level, I’ve developed and fine-tuned an arsenal of study techniques and exam strategy that have helped me achieve my academic goals. I happily pass these on to my students, giving them all the tools they need to optimise their learning and smash their exams! I’ve also had the opportunity to conduct research in my time at university, where I’ve applied many of the topics I’ve learned and taught to help solve real world problems. Communicating these experiences to my students often helps answer the classic question, “But when will I ever use this stuff in my day to day life?!”, and helps them see the relevance of what they are learning in the classroom to motivate them. In my free time, I love hiking and spending time outdoors in nature. I like to stay active and fit through the likes of running, basketball and surfing. I also love experimenting with different creative pursuits, right now I’m learning the drums - a great way to blow off some steam!
