As a year 11 student doing ATAR, I was looking for a tutor that could help me with French. KIS Academics was incredibly helpful and fast at finding me a wace french tutor who could assist me with my studies. My tutor Eliza Carey over the past few months has helped me so much not only in French but in biology and maths as well. I’m incredibly grateful for the effort and commitment she has put into helping me be more comfortable and less stressed about the subjects I was having difficulty with. It’s been nothing but an honour to be tutored by Eliza and I strongly recommend her as a tutor
“I got the top mark for my SAC which was really nice, and I think that’s all because of my tutor”

“It's been absolutely fantastic and it's just been a very positive environment for learning”

Hi there! my name is Matt, and I am offering tutoring for physics and chemistry in year 11 and 12 ATAR. In my spare time I like to paint, code, play soccer or basketball and hang out with my friends. I am currently studying a double bachelors in Automation and Robotics Engineering and Physics at the University of Western Australia. My ATAR score was 96.9, finishing top of physics in Newman College 2021 graduates, and top of physics UWA Semester 2. I am experienced tutor, helping students achieve their goals efficiently and enjoyably! As a Tutor I believe: - The complex topics of physics and chemistry require visual understandings. I aim to provide these understandings with explanations aided by my drawing skills. I also aim to teach how to use effective and efficient diagrams to learn and answer questions. - It's about knowing how to find the answer, even when you think you don't know it. Sometimes what teachers teach doesn't quite cut it for great success. Students feel overwhelmed when they come across questions they feel they have never seen before. I will teach students methods on how to cover the entirety of topics efficiently, so they never will have that feeling again. - The paper is an extension of your mind. Short term memory only lasts 30 seconds. I will get students into the habit of getting information and diagrams straight onto the paper as soon as they think/read it. This is the key to maintaining problem solving composure during tests and exams. Hope to hear from you. Matt :)
Hi there! I'm Zhenghui (call me Oscar if it is hard to pronounce). I graduated from Hale school and am currently studying for a Bachelor of Science degree at Melbourne University, majoring in Psychology. I have obtained an ATAR of 99.35, and have actively participated in volunteer tutoring programs at university. During my leisure time, I enjoy practicing piano & guitar, reading books, chatting with friends, and playing sports including badminton and table tennis. Being a past high school student, I certainly have felt the same kinds of struggle and confusion that some of you might be experiencing right now. For example, some topics are just too difficult; or you think that you understand everything, but the test result makes you think otherwise, etc... These are the reasons why I'm here! Have just completed my own ATAR adventure, I'm confident to help you ace these issues. Not only by sharing knowledge and study techniques, but also by providing you with some unique ways of approaching questions to combat the cunning examiner's demand. As your tutor, I will also explore the subject with you as a friend, and guide you through this crucial stage of your life. For the younger students, I can help you to build a strong foundation for your future subjects. I strongly believe that the 10 years before your final exam is far more important than the 2 years of actually taking it. Therefore, let's together make a fabulous start before the main course comes! I'm looking forward to hearing from you and meet you soon!
Hi! My name is Rachel (actually pronounced like Raa-kel), and since I graduated high school, I have been tutoring ATAR Chemistry and Human Biology as well as been mentoring students on study techniques and skills. I believe that leaving at least 30 minutes each day to do what you love, is key to persevering each day through high school to achieve your ATAR dream goal. Throughout my high school years, I also had my fair share of stressful moments as I juggled being in 3 choirs and sport alongside my studies, so I know what it’s like to have the weight of year 12 on your shoulders. My aim is to help you as much as possible to help you achieve your own ATAR dream goal in the best way possible 😊 Little bit about myself: I’m currently studying a major in Medical Sciences at UWA, and I love to go on long walks by the beach (cheesy I know) and do yoga every day. I also absolutely love music and dancing.
